Everyone looked so laid back and patient back then.I loved the beginning. I haven't heard the expression "Sure enough" from anyplace other then Splash Mountain uttered by a real live person for years. That lady sure enough loved to use it with her little boy, sure enough.
Just a facade... the late 60's and early 70's were a very turbulent time. Maybe we all just looked more mellow. Numb might be a better word.Everyone looked so laid back and patient back then.
It was a different time, little did the people know of what was in store for them. Was there anyone that excited about Hedge clip animals........Yikes...

I didn't know there was such a place. I noticed they offered water-skiing. Do they still?
Yeah honestly I thought that was kinda precious. A little kid entering a world of fantasy like they had probably never even dreamed of. My little boy loved all the plants like that when he was really little and still does today. As much as I love watching kids get wrapped up, there's a sense in which it's even more enjoyable to watch adults get immersed. I can't tell you how many people I've seen cry during Wishes and Happily Ever After. It was a different time, little did the people know of what was in store for them.
