Rapunzel's castle in Hong Kong Disneyland

The Castle of Magical Dreams debuted recently which is really beautiful in my opinion. In the Building a Dream: The Magic Behind a Disney Castle exhibit in Hong Kong Disneyland it was revealed that Rapunzel's castle from "Tangled" was considered as a replacement for the Sleeping Beauty Castle duplicate from Anaheim. I have always dreamed of Rapunzel's castle for one of the castle parks and got really excited when they showed the concept art, which I absolutely love. I wanted to see what it would look like if they actually went that route so I Photoshopped the rendering into some Hong Kong Disneyland photos. These are fairly quick edits so they're not perfect but they give us an idea of what it would have looked like. Hope you enjoy!

It’s wild to think that a group of people looked at this relatively cohesive idea and then decided that a bunch of conflicting elements would be better. The Disney Princess brand strikes again.

It's disappointing that they never built that. It's so beautiful. The "new" castle is ... I'm not a huge fan of it.
