Random thought on FP+

We leave tomorrow and a thought occured to me regarding sharing fastpasses with the new system.

I know it's not designed to share, but here is my tboughts.

1. Do we have the ability to get extra room keys from our hotel just in case someone looses a magic band?

Actually i guess that is my only question...

Here's my logic behind this.

Me and the wife will probably outlast her parents before heading back to the hotel. If they have their own seperate room keys, we could hang on to their magic bands to use their FP if they had not been used.

Well this is a valid quesion after all...here is question number 2.

2. Does a magic band have to checked into the theme park to access the FP's?

If her parents head to the room and we hop to another park this question is relevent. I highly doubt we will abandon them in the morning without their tickets, but who knows.

Well, I think you can always ask for KttW cards. And the last time I visited when MB were in early testing and legacy was still around, yes I could hand my MB to whomever and they could scan themselves into a ride. As long as I was "scanned" as having entered that park then anyone could use my MB on rides I had FP+.

I can answer #1. We stayed at the GF in December 2013. We got the magic bands before our trip. They gave us key cards once we arrived. They will also give you a new magic band if you lose it or it breaks (grey only and no name personalization).

You will be able to get the same color band if u lose yours. My son lost his and he got his same color again, it just didn't have his name personalized on the inside...

The hotel would not let us get spare room keys. Also, after our 3rd fp time was up, if we made a 4th fastpass all people must be in the park. Otherwise it is only made for people in the parkz
