i just booked the Rainforest Cafe at AK for dinner, i was told its not part of the meal plan....where else can i eat at AK thats part of the meal plan?

thats because Rainforest Cafe is an independant resteraunt. It's good i eat there regularly but it's not part of the walt disney company.

Try Tusker House (yummy chicken and salmon) or FlameTree BBQ.

There have been a few threads lately about the Rainforest Cafe...its a chain restaurant and as such the food tends to be....uninspired. Its very expensive for what you get and the people who work there are less than stellar (at least at the AK one).
You could always head over to the AKL, they have wonderful restaurants there and they would be on the plan. :wave:

The only sit-down option at AK is Donald's Breakfastoaurus. It's a decent breakfast buffet, and the best place I've found to meet Donald. However it only serves breakfast.

What we usually do on our AK day is eat lunch at Tusker House and dinner at Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Since AK closes early it works well for us.

If you are looking for dinner...take the short bus ride to AKL and eat at Boma. It is close enough and one of the best meals on property (in my opinion).

You are right. During the day it's called Restaurantasaurus and serves McDonald's food, counter service style. In the morning it's called Donald's Breakfastasaurus and is a character buffet.

Sorry to hear(read) that. We have eaten there a couple of times and enjoyed the food. Thought the atmosphere was cool too. We've been to both the Downtown Disney and Las Vegas Rainforest Cafes. We enjoyed both.

Last time I was at Rain Forrest, I was very unhappy with the quality of food. I would suggest going over to the AKL and have dinner at Boma which I really enjoyed.
