Rainforest Cafe (DD)

We have a priority seating at Rainforest Cafe in DD for 6/5, Sat., at 6:30 PM. Does anyone know if we will be seated fairly quickly, or are we in for a wait of about 40 minutes or so? I know the waits can be monstrous there...

Chances are you'll probably wait. They like to use the time while they are preparing your table for you to "browse" the shop in the front. I remember going there for lunch a couple of years ago and we waited 20 minutes, went inside and found the place relatively empty. Of course the hostess said upon arrival "You could take your time to browse through the store."

I've only eaten there twice, but both tims we never needed Priority Seating. We just walked up, gave our name and were generally seated within 15-20 minutes as both times they were relatively busy. You can look around the gift shop beforehand, but I like doing that after to help "walk off" part of my lunch/dinner.

Great, thanks! A 20-minute wait is not so bad - I know we can handle that! I remember going once in July with no PS and being told we had a 2 HOUR wait!! UGH! We went back to the hotel for dinner that night...

Now with the help of these boards, I've got my PS and we can finally enjoy RC!! Yeah!!

I love their club card. It cost us 10 dollars and they give you coupons that make up for the cost almost right away. You get 10% off your check when you go there, and IMMEDIATE SEATING (very nice when you get 2.5 hour waits).

Yes, I'd heard about that club card, and was considering it. Don't they also give discounts for having AAA?

In any case, I will remember the Safari Club if needed!

I have the Club card and it's great. I showed my card at the podium and got seated immediately, ahead of people who were already waiting. They sent me a $10 off certificate for joining and I got another one for $5 off for my birthday. Plus, you get the 10% off every time you use the card.:sohappy:
