I have been to the Rain Forest Cafe in other parts of the country for lunch & dinner but would like to try it for breakfast. I understand that the one at Animal Kingdom is right at the entrance to the park. First ? Does anyone recomend it for breakfast. We would like a change from the morning buffets at the resorts and hoped we could have a nice breakfast before going to the park. Does it open earlier than the park. We will be there in mid November. Do they take PS for breakfast and is PS recommended. And finally, if we made a PS for when they first open is there transportation available from the Dolphin that early. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Unless they moved it since I was there (8SEP01 thru 15SEP01), the Rain Forest Cafe is at downtown Disney area and not next to the animal kingdom. Actually they are almost at opposite ends of the disney world property.

Can anyone confirm the the Rain Forest Cafe has moved?

It hasn't moved at all... there are now two Rainforest Cafe's on property... one at the Downtown Disney Marketplace, and one at the entrance to Disney's Animal Kingdom. :)

The last time I was there I went there for breakfast and for the life of me I cannot remember what I had, but I loved it. I know the food was good and everyone I was with enjoyed it. As for the transportation, you'd have to rely on the AK transportation, so whatever time that starts running, you would have to take into account and reserve accordingly. They do take PS there, because I just made one myself for my trip in July. I'm sure you'll enjoy it and I would highly recommend it. :)

Rainforest AK is Excellent

We ALWAYS do the Rainforest at Animal Kingdom before we go into the AK park. We always use our Flex Feature for Breakfast. (Yes it is a flex feature) Very good food... always enjoy it.:animwink:

Don't know about the restaurant itself... but Transportation starts at 7am for breakfasts around property.

We stayed at Coronado Springs last month and wanted to have breakfast at Boma, AKL. Of course, there is no direct resort to resort bus. We could take a bus to AK park, then another to AKL, but since the park didn't open until 9:00 and our PS was for 7:30am, all the CMs we spoke to said take a cab. We did, for about $6 it worked out great.

It's only at AK's rainforest. It is soooo good. Very few people know they are open for breakfast. If you get the chance, go there. Best ever.:slurp: :slurp: :slurp: :slurp: :slurp: :slurp: :slurp:

I will have to sample it to see if it matches the amazing savory deliciousness of Kona's :)

"Hmm, excuse me... I think I need more to truly determine if this is better than the others... can you send me a whole plate full more????" lol
