Rainbow Connection

As many of you know, Jim Brickman had a special on PBS featuring Disney songs in December. Since I work at the local PBS station, I was able to attend Jim's holiday concert in Chattanooga with a special meet-in-greet afterwards.

During the concert, Jim performed Rainbow Connection with Kermit the Frog "via sattelite" during the show. Today the song has been stuck in my head. One of my favorite songs of all time by the way. I ws wondering if anyone knew where I could download it for free to listen to on my computer at work. I did a Google search with little results.

There is also a wonderful version of the song on one of Judy Collins' albums. If I can remember which one, I'll post it.

Found it. It's called "Running for My Life" from Electra records.

2 years ago I received tickets to Jim's Holiday concert here in NY with Olivia Newton John and Donny Osmond...2 rows back from the stage. I have a version with Jim singing it on one of my CDs. Since I am completely inept I'll have to wait for Lil'mermaid to come home, but I can send you a copy of the song if you would like. tigsmom - I saw the concert with Donnie a couple of years ago, too. I enjoyed this concert more for some reason. It might be because Disney songs were performed. I got to meet Donnie after the show with Jim. He is really short.
