Radisson Parkway

My wife and I are going down to Disney in April and decided to stay at the Radisson. From our research it should be on par with the Disney deluxe resorts for a fraction of the price. We are driving down from NH so transportation is not an issue as we will have our own car. I was wondering if anyone has stayed there recently and could give me your impression. Our last trip was a family vacation and we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. We loved it but in the Disney tradition there were many unsupervised little ones running around. This will be an anniversary vacation and were hoping for a little more romance. Any feedback would be helpful.

Well ArielLover, my last visit to WDW, last weekend, had us stay at the Radisson Parkway. It was a very nice looking hotel, everything was clean and stuff. The beds weren't very comfortable, but other than that, it was a nice stay. I still prefer WDW hotels over most offsite hotels any day. There are a few offsite hotels I do like though.

We stayed there our first night on our trip in October. It was nice, had a nicely landscaped pool area. For the price we paid it was fine, I wouldn't compare it to a Disney deluxe though. The cooked to order omelets in the restaurant was a nice touch. It's very close to WDW too. Hope you have fun.

I stayed at the Radisson Parkway in '97 and loved it. I stayed at The Contemporary Resort in '02 and would choose RP any day.

The RP was updated after my '97 trip, so it must look even better now.

There are 2 pools. The large pool contains a waterfall and slide.
There are 2 hot tubs. One contains a waterfall and is some what secluded.

They have free transportation to WDW, SeaWorld, and Universal.

Have fun!
