Radiator Springs Racers Fastpass

This will be our first visit to DLR/DCA and I am trying to figure how things work first thing in the morning when there is no early entry. I have read that guests are let into DCA early and then held up at Carthay Circle until rope drop. Is that true? After that is it a free for all to obtain fastpasses or do you have to line up for them prior to rope drop? If you are at the front is it possible to grab fastpasses and still get a decent place in line for Racers?

Yes you are allowed into BVS before opening and held at Carthay Circle. There will be 2 lines. On the left (against the Carthay Circle Restaurant) is the Fastpass line for RSR. To the right is the assembling of everyone else waiting to get into the park and RSR standby.



At rope drop here will be an opening announcement and the fastpass line starts giving out passes and the standby group is slowing walked into Carsland. There are plenty of CM's around to answer questions and direct you to correct area.

RSR FP is not connected meaning you do not have to wait to obtain another FP. If you want multiple rides I recommend using single rider as long as you don't mind being separated from your party.
