ok, nobody answered.. meh.. well ill post my idea then
my version of this ride would be similar, but it would involve less of the cars characters and mor of the car culture of california, including the preshow and a part of the dark ride.. oh, and judging by the map, the ride wont begin as a dark ride, i would make it begin with a dark section, the biggest difference would be that everybody would win the race! you know, i thought it was a great idea that they make a car race other car, but one will randomly win and another will randomly lose.
now that may be a problem, because i dont know if u guys, but i really really like to win
.. and so do other teenagers, i think.. plus, everybody is happy when they win, and i wouldnt want people to leave the ride thinking.. geez, i lost!
so after a little thought, i came up with an idea:
the cars are racing each other, and in a point, the two spilt and reunite again, the difference is, the other car is really just a car with dummies. you only THINK its a real car. so happens with the other car, it encounters your car again, but it isnt your car, its a copy. (the roads never actually reunite again,they do it just after you have unloaded, it a fake car youre racing against after youve split) ..so the real car wins.. everybody wins.. get it? it could be a little complicated, but the imagineers are known for making the impossible happen.
