Race weekend Saturday or Sunday?

We are planning to visit Disney during race weekend Jan 2023. We will be arriving On the Friday and leaving on the Monday (coming after a cruise, didn’t plan well lol). We only plan on doing MK and was wondering what day would be better in terms of crowds. Planning on staying at poly or WL so I’m not too worried about transportation.

The consensus of most that reccomend park days is that MK is busier and much more crowded on a Saturday as opposed to Sunday.
