Ever since my wife's an my first trip to WDW 10 years ago, we always turn around on main streen when we're leaving and wave a quick good bye to the Walt and Mickey "Partners" statue on our last day at the park, are there any goofy things anyone else always does.

I always ride the monorail before I leave on the last day. I always have to do it. The sad thing that happen was when they took out the skyride in MK. That was the last ride that I would go on before I leave. Since then the fireworks were the last thing that I always do before I leave and go on the monorail.

The first time we rode RnRR, we nearly drove ourselves nuts trying to remember the name of the actress who plays the manager in the pre-show room. Now, as we are driving down to WDW, as soon as we cross the Florida line we say "Ileana Douglas!" As we get on the turnpike, we say "Ileana Douglas!" And when we enter DS, we say "Ileana Douglas!" And when we get into the line for RnRR, we say "Ileana Douglas." Then, when the pre show starts, we say "Hey! Isn't that Ileana Douglas?"

Everytime that have I been there we were lucky enough to get to sit in the front of the monorail. We didn't mean for it to become something that we do every trip but it has become something to do on every trip. The last time we were there, we waited almost half an hour because other people were waiting to sit in the front & we weren't in a very big rush.

The drive up we always eat at IHOP for breakfast, As we enter Disney's gate my husband always says Welcome home, Hug stitch on our last day.

. . . we say "Ileana Douglas!" . . .
This reminded me of a "tradition" my wife and I kept up for many years, though not at WDW. She and I went there for our honeymoon in 1985 and stayed in Kissimmee. Up until we saw the word itself on a road sign, we didn't think anything of it, but as soon as I saw it, I said, "kiss-a-me," she said "glad-i-ly," and she proceeded to do so (we were "yielding" at an exit off the interstate at the time). Since that time, it became common practice (when at an interstate exit, or just stopped at an intersection) for me to say "kiss-a-me" and you can guess the rest . . .

We always ride the resort monorail when we first get there. What makes it quirky is that we aren't going anywhere. We just ride it because we can't believe we are Disney and we like to check things out first and see if anything has changed. We never go to MK the first day we get there because we always arrive in the afternoon and that's our day to check things out and hang out at the hotel. But when the monorail stops at MK, we always look at eachother with a sly look as if saying "Should we?" But then we never do. I know...silly

My mom always stands in front of the Fountain of Nations during a performance with her arms outstretched to take in the ambiance, at least that's what she says. We usually do a count down as we enter Disney property and beep the horn when pass under the arch.

Depends on the phase of my life...

As a kid we'd always hit the Disney Village on the last day to take it easy, get in some last minute shopping.

With my kids the last day is spent at Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. We aim for the car at 3pm which puts us home at midnight. Works like a charm - kids get so tired they sleep most of the way.

...oh, and also getting a citrus swirl in Adventureland...
