Quiet places in parks to take a work call?

Hi folks--

We leave on Monday. My husband has some work calls he may need to take while we are away. Are there any good places in the parks for him to duck away for a half an hour or so while I take my daughters to attractions? He's rather not have to head back to the hotel (Grand Floridian), but if that's the best option, he'll do it.

Liberty Square in MK is usually kind of quiet compared to the rest of the park. There's even rocking chairs on the porches he can sit on :p Also it's in the middle of Fantasyland/Frontierland so you have options on rides!

I have taken calls from every corner of every park. In general, it is not all that hard to find a quiet-ish spot to take a call. Some spots that stick in my head...

1. Animal Kingdom -- when walking towards the entrance to Kilamanjaro Safaris, hang a left and head towards the cast entrance/exit in the wood fence. Virtually no reason for guests to head that way, and it's far enough from the queue or ride that there little sound.

2. Animal Kingdom -- Discovery Island trails have many quiet spots.

3. Animal Kingdom -- Any of the many tables and benches in out of the way nooks around the river.

4. DHS -- Gathering area for LMA when there isn't a show going or soon to start

5. DHS -- ABC Commissary, when it's not lunch time. Typically pretty quiet in there.

6. Epcot -- Near the Odyssey restaurant

7. Epcot -- Second floor of Electric Umbrella, when it's not lunch time.

8. Epcot -- The little island betwen UK and France, as long as it's not close to Illuminations time

9. Epcot -- Second floor verandah at Mitsukoshi, as long as it's not close to Illuminations

10. Epcot -- Gardens in Canada

11. Epcot -- Walkway between Imagination and World Showcase

12. Epcot -- Near the cast exit to the right of Imagination (when you're looking at the entrance to the ride)

13. Epcot -- Norway theater (just a joke -- never anybody there, though).

14 MK -- Tom Sawyer Island has lots of good spots. The old snackbar is my favorite

15. MK -- Old Swan boat dock in the hub (if it still exists with Hub reconfiguration)

16. MK -- Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station, unless you're there on one of the 10 days per year that it's operating.

As you can see, I've done this a few times. I have never had any trouble finding a spot when I needed to, so you'll be fine.

This is super-helpful. What a relief! Thanks for taking the time to provide such a detailed answer. I really appreciate it.
You're welcome. There's many more (porch of Hall of Presidents, former canoe landing, for example) that would come to me with a few more minutes of thought, so your husband will find what he needs.

I can give you spots for calls in Anaheim, Paris, and Tokyo as well. :)

How about the exit of Animation as it heads into the gift shop? Usually quiet there (light music from Disney films) and has a/c. Our 16-month olds have taken many a nap there!

In MK, there are tables on the left as you leave adventureland heading into Frontierland, across from Pecos Bill. They are typically shaded and somewhat quiet at off meal times - good if you need a table.
