Quick MK update / Sunday Sept 2nd

• New lamps added behind the walls near Big Top Souvenirs
• First post is up to start building the entrance canopy to Storybook Circus
• There are small crests on the Castle Walls now
• They've added some trees outside the castle walls before you enter Fantasyland Forest
• They have little wooden doors or windows ( not sure what they are supposed to be ) on the spires

I just wanted to add that the four crests on the castle wall represent four different fairytale stories, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Sleeping Beauty.

Odd, since it's not being represented. You'd think Dumbo would make more sense.

Well, Dumbo does not fit in with the medieval theme of the walls. I agree that it's odd to use Sleeping Beauty given the lack of representation in the park (beyond M&G's) but I guess they figure that Cinderella already has the giant castle so why not through something Aurora's way. Probably came down to SB or Tangled -- and might there be more crests?

The sleeping beauty crest will make for a great piece of trivia in the future, the crest represents the Sleeping Beauty M&G attraction that they decided not to build. Sort of like the dragon on the Animal Kingdom sign.

I can't tell from the pictures, are the "wood doors" on the tower supposed to look like real doors for the purpose of forced perspective, or are they just wood panels?

Not a single leak yet as to when those construction walls are coming down around the castle walls? I still think it will happen before the publicized 11/19 date. They look to be about finished.
