QUICK HELP NEEDED- pins allowed in carry-on?

We're flying out of Newark airport in the morning and I just thought of something- will Disney pins be a problem for security? My kids want theirs with the carry-on as we are doing DME and will be going to MVMCP right after we check-in to our hotel.

So are pins considered a security risk (the Disney wearable kind of course).

Pins are fine. I have a few on my carryon backpack every time I fly to WDW. Just make sure they're on/in your luggage at the checkpoint, and that you're not actually *wearing* them when you walk through the metal detector.
