Quick Fantasyland update 10.21.12

Just got back 30 minutes ago:

• The plastic mugs from Gastons Tavern are now also at Pinnochios Village Haus but they have Pinnochio or Jiminy Cricket on them.
• Tons of steel beams are up on the mine train and I've seen what looks to be the start of some wire frame going up so they can start building the mountain
• Noticed some lightning rod antennas on top of the Fantasyland train station I hadn't noticed before
• You can really start to make out the buildings in the Tangled restroom area.

I don't understand why they'd take away part of the uniqueness of LeFou's Brew by putting the cup in another location as well

Thanks for the update! Everything is looking great, both Tangled bathrooms and the Mine Train are coming together nicely. I know they said 2014 for the Mine Train (and it'll take a while with testing, etc.) but does anyone have a feeling it'll be done ahead of time?

Did you read all of Dj's post? He said that the Village Haus's cups have Pinocchio and Jiminy on them. So, overall, they are not truly the same mugs as the ones at Gaston's, despite being similarly made.

That still makes them different.

Be glad that they themed the cups better to where they're being sold instead of keeping them totally the same everywhere.

I agree! Fantasyland cups with different stickers on them for the ride/area they are adjacent too is fine with me.

True, I didn't intend on trying to sound like a pessimist. I just thought that the cups is part of the reason that LeFou's Brew feels exclusive

That was the idea, anyways... I am sure they are going to try to make this a mug collecting experience to maximize profits...

Pretty lame in my opinion and I think they'll end up selling fewer of the cups because they're less novel. But then again, few people will probably notice that these are available in multiple places before they purchase their LeFou's.

Oh god, yes...I can see it now. Obsessives flocking to the park to get the latest mug to make their collection complete.
Probably keep them on the shelf next to their binders full of Sorcerers cards.

Really appreciate you and all those who take the time to post pics and updates. These two projects seem to be moving along faster than schedule. Each update I am impressed at the changes that took place.

It's a case of SMDS. Same Mug Different Sticker.
I like the curved roof-line I see in the buildings over there though. That's a nice little architectural touch. Thanks for the photo updates!
