Questions about Ohana's

Ive done Ohana's before, but am going with a different group this time.
Want to make sure it goes well, especially since there is a picky one.

Has anyone ever ordered something special like not from the regular meal?
I ordered rice when i was there and they happily brought me some, im just wondering if i ask for some Kona Coffee if they will bring it?

Also i know the meal is "All you care to eat" does that include the dessert because from what i remember it disappeared really quickly when i was there last october...so im just curious if we could get two, if needed.

I believe they offer the standard desert, but other choices are available for an additional charge. You should have no problem getting an additional portion of the standard dessert included in the meal.

Not sure about Kona Coffee in particular (where it's a drink they may charge you), but generally items like rice, french fries, or chicken fingers that you can request (which they get from Kona) are generally included.

Mmm Ohana... sounds goooood... if memory serves, the last time we went to Ohana, had enough trouble eating the dessert they gave us, let alone needing seconds - the skewers were soooo tasty, we just kept getting more. You should be able to get as much as you want from what is on the menu, dessert or no, but the portions are very ample and we didn't find ourselves needing more than what we were given. The menu does state "NOTE: ALTERNATIVE CHILDREN'S SELECTIONS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST", so I'm sure the kitchen has access to standard kid's fare, likely including rice. I'm a pretty picky eater, but there was definitely enough options for me at Ohana.

It has been a long time joke at our house. At the time our son did not want anything to do with the type of food at O'hana. They kindly offered a hot dog. Great Disney service! The bill came and my DH almost hit the floor! I dont remember the exact price, but we still joke about the "$15.00" hot dog for a 5 year old. I just had to share.

If you have any specific dietary needs such as allergies, make sure to call ahead to make arrangements with the chef!

I meant that if anyone needed something special like a veggie dish or non-dairy, etc... they should call ahead to make arrangements!
