when sept last year the only ride i saw was autopia...

it really was an OH NO3SSS!!!!1111 <3 moment... [/sarcasm]

Basically all the cool stuff will be open.... so no worries there - although the paddle steamers were off when i went  which i genuinely was quite upset about! :(

Read through the Disneyland Paris forum and you will get all kinds of information you need. DLP does not close major attractions the way the WDW in Florida or DL in California do. They are newer, better constructed, and don't get any refurbishment at this point. Autopia is only open at highest peak, and will most likely close completely down the road. The only major downtime that any of the rides had was Space Mountain II last year when they fixed the LIM firing mechanism, and changed the lighting. Everything is up and running, including the newly opened Buzz Lightyear Spin equivalent.

We arrive at Disneyland Paris on the 8th and have been checking www.dlrpmagic.com for the refurb schedule. Don't remember everything off the top of my head, but know that Big Thunder Mountain will be down while we're there. :( Major bummer. I was looking forward to riding that one. Oh well. It's our first time to Paris, I think we'll find lots of other things to do. LOL

paris (the city) is awesome.... altho i do warn you - the drivers DONT stop when your trying to cross... so find a native and follow them closely accross the road :p also check out all the touristy sights - but DO TRY and go off the beaten track - there are some EXCELLENT places to eat :)

I don't want to sound rude, but what are you talking about??

Every attraction gets a yearly rehab that takes about two weeks every year. Pirates was down for two weeks this month. Phantom Manor mostly is closed two weeks during november or december.

Big Thunder Mountain this year will close from the end of august till the end of october

and fixing the LIM firing mechanism? What was wrong with it? It worked just fine. They just fire you from the base of the canon now, so there is a bigger , or longer kick. Changed the ligting? They did much more than that! They added planets, craters, projections etc

if you are refering to rehabs that take a year or more like Space Mountain and It's a small world in WDW, they don't happen often eather in WDW....
