Questions about Costco tickets

My husband and I are planning our first WDW trip this spring for our 10th anniversary. (Well, he's been before, but I haven't). We having been pricing hotel and tickets, and we are just blown away by how much less the Costco packages are. We want to make sure that we don't have any problems though, and are a little worried about booking through such a big company.

One of the specific questions I have is about ticket length. It seems we can only buy tickets up to 7 days through Costco, is there any way to extend that?

And please tell me the good and bad of using Costco, and any secrets to making it work as well as possible.

Thanks!

Once you have your real disney tickets.. you can add days to a MYW ticket at Disney up to the max 10 day length. How long are you planning on going for?

Costco should be like any other travel agent.. compare their offer vs individual costs paying attention to details.

There shouldn't be drastic differences unless you are factoring in the Costco gift card that they give you.

Be sure you are comparing apples to apples:

- same hotel, with the same room type
- same tickets (with the same ticket options)
- same dates
- same promotional offer

When pricing online with Disney, in many cases the ticket options chosen aren't the base tickets. The same is true for the hotel room type. Costco may be showing you the standard room, while Disney online is showing a water view or preferred room.

Ticket options can be confusing and probably are different when comparing :)

?

WDW MYW tickets come in 1 to 10 days, and have only 3 options:

All start as base ticket, then

- you can add park hopper option
- you can add water park and more
- you can add no expiration

That should help.
