Question on WDW vacation packages

I know in the past lets say if you had 4 people book a vacation package with room, meal plan, and park tickets, that those 4 people all had to have the same package because it was one reservation for that room.

Can it be changed so that if two people didn't want the meal plan or wanted shorter park passes to save $$? Not sure if we can split it up with in a single room like that.

I believe that all 4 would have to have the meal plan, and a minimum number of park tickets (It used to be 1 day, but I think they have since raised that to 2 or possibly 3). Days can be added to those tickets though for those who want more park time.

Yep. If one person in a reservation does the dining plan everyone does. That's why we didn't bother with it. I don't eat enough to justify the cost. The tickets in a package would be the same number of days for everyone as well.

You can do shorter passes by getting everyone the shorter passes with the package. The 2 that need longer ones can then upgrade them at guest services to whatever length they need.

When it comes to the dining plan, it is all or nothing.
