I have a chance to go to a conference in June or August and stay at the GF. It would only be my 10 year old daughter and myself going. The conference is three days and only goes from 8 a.m to 12 noon. We'll do the parks after my conference. My question is that the GF only has the kids club open from 4:30 to midnight which doesn't help me out. Does anyone know how much the babysitting would run or if there are any other possibilities of child care while I'm at the conference? Hard not to pass up going when I would be going for work and get to play and stay at WDW!!
Might I suggest "Kid's Nite Out" service. They are the recommended childcare service of Walt Disney World. Kid's Nite Out caregivers will arrive at your resort room wearing a Kid’s Nite Out nametag and identification badge and arrive prepared with age-appropriate toys, activities, books, games, and arts & crafts. They can also provide a fun, well-trained sitter to just hang out with your family if you need a father's or mother's helper.
The professional caregivers…
... are at least 18 years of age
... are certified in child/infant CPR and basic first aid
... are thoroughly interviewed with references and criminal background checks are performed
