Question For Previous L&M Car Renters

Just booked with them for August trip.
(by far the best price for "in terminal" agencies).
I noticed that previous posters mentioned about presenting their insurance card....I'm assuming they are talking about the typical wallet size insurance ticket?....or do they need a copy of the insurance document itself (stating rental car insurance coverage)?

I've rented from them 2x and haven't had any problems. They've asked for the

insurance proof. I had both the small card and my policy w/me. Very nice people to deal with. We're driving this time, but will use them again next time we fly...prices ARE great for the in-terminal service.

I've never had any trouble renting from L&M...I would rent from them again in a heartbeat...I've had more trouble with some national chains at MCO... They didn't ask me for proof of insurance... I just gave them my carrier's name and policy number...

They were great. :)

I also offered my insurance card, and they just said that's fine. I think they are only looking to add insurance for the novice car rental person. L & M has been really a nice cheap in terminal service. Keep checking orbitz, the price dropped 3 times in the last couple of weeks before our trip one time.
