Question for Orlando-locale artists?

Due to our 5 different family schedules, this year's trip occurs during our middle DD's finals week in December. She is finishing her freshman year at San Fran Academy of Art. She is trying to work ahead in all 3 classes but can take her laptop and scan anything in due during the trip. We plan on shipping any materials we can (no way we're getting a set of acrylics in tubes through air security with the 3 ounce rule).

But if she needs something we can't ship or carry-on (large format paper, canvas, etc.), can anyone recommend a good art store close to the parks?

There really isn't any store close to the parks I can recommend. If you have a car, there's Sam Flax. It's about a 20-30 minute drive into downtown Orlando. http://www.samflaxsouth.com/

Conversely, you can probably order supplies online and have them delivered to the resort you're staying at.

Thanks! The few times we had a car there in the past had me wondering. It is pretty sparse around the area there.

Appreciate the link. We're going to try to ship everything or pack what we can but you never know may happen. And finals week is not a time to take a chance.
