Question for CM's

I heard from a Disneyland CM that if you work at Disneyland resort, you get WDW parks for free, but that it does not work this way in reverse.

That is, if you work at WDW, you do not get in the Disneyland resort parks for free.

Can anybody confirm or deny this?

That is strange, and is totally inconsistent with what I heard from the DL CM's. But I don't know WDW CM's so that is why I'm asking.

WDW CM's can get into DL and DCA, just as DL CMs can get into any of the four WDW parks... (goes for IDs and Main Gates)

What the DL CM might have been referring to is a blockout date for Main Gate passes... WDW CM's weren't allowed to use thier Main Gates to get into DCA for the first months that it was open...

One thing to note, as far as I know, WDW & DL CM's can't get into TDL or DLP with our passes because those parks are actually franchises and not Disney owned...

Thanks, yeah I'm well aware that all CM's were blocked out when DCA opened.

It's just funny he specifically said that WDW CM's can't get in Disneyland. I guess he was simply wrong, since he works for DL, and not WDW.

I learned this when my friends from the College Program took a few days off to fly to CA and visit the parks: If you have a main gate it works the same, temp ids or ids without main gates apparently do not let you into the parks and if you have a comp ticket it does not transfer as a hopper but just a single park ticket.

As much as that really stinks that is what we found out. Sorry.
