Question: Extending Stay

I have a MYW reservation at WL later this month for 4 nights. I extended my staying by adding a room only night prior to the package start date. Supposedly the reservations are linked together so I don't need to check out / check in.

My question is can I extend my MYW park tickets for an additional day and start using them on the day I arrive (room only day). Has anyone tried this? I know that if I added a room only night on to the other end, then there would be no problem.

Yes. We did it for our trip next week. You must call the reservation line and they will link everything for you.

While you can link the two reservations to try to keep you in the same room, you will still have to visit the front desk to handle some paperwork on the switch day, especially because one reservation is a Room Only and one is a package.

But there is no way to access your package's park tickets earlier than the start date for that reservation. (There used to be a way to do it at the parks that only a few Guest Relations CM's knew about, but I've heard that the new MDE system has pretty much ended that)
