we will be taking our 5 kids to disneyworld this july 2004.we are making their own autograph books to take with them.
i have heard from other boards mentioned that they got stamps from each country in epcot. can any one elaborate on this? i know that they have some charachters there, but am not sure about the stamps. i would like to make a section for this purpose in their books if it is true.
thanks in advance

Perhaps what they were mentioning were the Kidcot Fun Stops
@ EPCOT. Every pavillion has a children's activity center where kids can do crafts and receive ink stamps that represent each land. For example: China is a dragon.

At gift shops in Epcot (we got ours at MouseGear), they have Epcot passports for kids. Each country in represented in the WS and the kids take them around to each KidCot spot at the country and the person there will write a note to them, stamp their book with a stamp of their country and there are stickers for each country to put on the pages too. Our kids loved it and still get their passports out and look at them. The ones from Japan and China are written in their respective languages, so it's quite interesting. A worthwhile investment!

You don't have to buy anything to get stamps at the countries in WS. Kids decorate these masks that are given to them for free and they stamp the wooden stick that the mask is attached to. My girls loved collecting all the different stamps and decorating them with designs from each country.
They make great souviners and did i mention that they are FREE. The passports are about $9.00 each and ,frankly, I like the masks better because they are personal not just a stamp in a book. Also when the kids sitdown to decorate their mask they tend to socialize with the CM's and learn about the different countries. With the passport they get their stamp and run off to the next country. During the Food and Wine Festival in the Fall you can collect even more stamps because they have more booths. We collected stamps from Spain & Africa (I'm not sure what country it was though).

The masks are free? Ours would not do the masks, so we opted for the passports--which were $10 last year.

I still have a Passport from when I was little and it's really neat. I not only have a stamp and sticker from each country but I have a CM who wrote a message in their native tongue then translated it into English. It's pretty cool. ODn't know if they still do it that way now though.

You can still find some (or could in 2001) that would do that. It just depends on who is there that day.
