Question about Wishes Dessert Party

My fiance just called and spoke to a CM about when we would be able to book the dessert party for December 15th. I do not know why he did this - I know from here that they book a couple of months out. Anyway, he was told something rather disturbing! She said that they do not normally do the dessert party during MVMCP. Is this true? Obviously they wouldn't do it on the nights that the Christmas party is going on, but what about the nights the party isn't happening? I hadn't heard anything about it here, so I thought I'd ask. I tend to trust sources here more than the CMs...

Every night that there is not a special event! At least that's what I was told by the cm when I booked for September. The only nights not available we're during mickeys Halloween party!

It has a nice view of the fireworks.

The desserts look amazing. Unfortunately, they are not the very yummy treats I thought they would be. They were kind of blah. But they look really yummy.

And if you want pop, you must supply your own. No pop!

It's not something I'd pay for again unless I just wanted a nice, easy fireworks view.

Some people like them. Everyone is different. :)

Me, I love treats. I actually skipped dinner so that I could pig out and eat my momey's worth of yummy stuff. I took one each of a bunch of different dessertss. And I didn't finish any of them. I went back for a bunch of tarts, so I could pick the berries off and eat those. Seriously...paid extra money and skipped dinner for picking berries off tarts.

Four of us attended. Three of us were very underwhelmed. The twelve year old liked the cannoli and ate like ten of them. He gave it a thumbs up. :)

We are going for our 3rd time in September. We absolutely love it. The brûlée is my fave and the cannoli. I have never not enjoyed it. To each his/her own all I know it is now a mandatory thing we do when at WDW.

I'm definately planning on trying to book this for our trip in December. It would be nice if they gave some sort of clue about when the reservations open up.

Wishes dessert party is on every night that MVMCP is not on!

Same last year ;)

Exactly. I think the 15th was a non MVMCP night last year when we did it and this year that night is. I have yet to look at the schedule. Last year they opened reservations for WDP around middle to end of September. I am hawking it too. I will never watched fireworks there again without doing it. It is so peaceful to sit down and enjoy viewing them without elbow shoving knocking rude grandma over.
