Question about the old Submarine Voyage

Need some help to settle a minor family tiff lol
My parents went to DL in 1991 and my Dad says he remembers there being characters from the Little Mermaid featured in it, my Mum says there wasn't, they were just mermaids.
Can anybody shed some light?

There were Mermaids, but no mention nor intention of anything "The Little Mermaid"-related.

If he thinks he saw Ariel on it, then "Perhaps he'd been submerged too long."
