Question about the new theater in DCA?

As part of the DCA take 2 operation they are building a replica of the theater that Snow White debued in.

Will this be a remake of the existing Hyperion Theater or a seperate and new theater?

No, this will be in the main entrance plaza area, at the end of Buena Vista Street, and it will serve as the "castle" of DCA. It will probably just be a facade, though, not a working theatre.

Thanks thats a bumber it would be great if they could put COP and a version of OMD in side the theater.

I believe the Carthay was originally going to feature a small theater and gallery/exhibits. Then the theater idea was scrapped, and instead turned into the Walt Disney Story.. Walt's office will supposedly be shipped back to Anaheim for that.

At this point, i'm not entirely sure what will be in there.. The theater was never intended to replace the Hyperion, which has 2,000 seats and huge stage/facilities. One thing i'm certain of - the Carthay will feature a tribute to Walt in some shape or form. Personally, I'd love to see a small theater that plays the Golden Dreams film and a tribute to Walt in the lobby.
