The Cottage Suites are not connected to the Club Level Lounge. You will need to walk outside through your private picket-fenced garden and head into the main building to take the elevator to the 4th floor. Club Level entrance is here.
The Lounge really is beautiful. Wide open large room, high vaulted ceilings, and really cozy furnishings, with a small balcony overlooking the rose gardens and the Eiffel Tower, Illuminations pyro can be seen at night. I prefer BoardWalk's lounge physically to Poly's Lounge. Poly's just felt like a counter service food court location--always packed with kids, messy tables, and bench seating. BoardWalk Lounge is quiet, more upscale, and kept very neat.
BoardWalk Club level CMs are the absolute best. Check out reviews here and on other sites. They will go above and beyond, and genuinely take an interest in you, your family/friends, and your vacation. Best Club Level CMs are at BoardWalk Inn!!! Pete, Jackie, Lorenzo, and others are top notch!
The food offerings can be fairly average, sometimes good. Breakfast is traditional continental fare--cereals, juices, fresh pastries, and very fresh sliced fruit/ whole fruit. Remember that the pastries come from the Bakery downstairs, so there is ample choices not really found at other club levels. No oatmeal though, which Poly does have.
Afternoon is pretty crappy--goldfish, gummi worms, pretzels, and cookies. The lemonade is my favorite lemonade anywhere!
Evening can be randomly wierd--rabbit empanadas and a wierd taco offering, to very good--beef skewers, penne vodka, sausage and peppers, and chicken wings. PB&J, breads, crackers, cheese, salads, fruits to eat and wines, Amstel, Heineken, and some liquor to drink along with soda (but no lemonade!!!). Most food is from Flying Fish or Kouzzina or ESPN.
Desserts, again from the bakery, are chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, tarts, and cakes.
Polynesian has a nice small fridge holding all of your fruit beverages and milks. BoardWalk does not. And that's annoying.
We have experienced several Club Levels (Beach/Yacht/BoardWalk/Poly/Wild Lodge) and BoardWalk is our favorite for their Lounge, peace and quiet atmospehere, theme, and absolute best CMs.
