My husband and I have had a Southwest card since 2009. We have been using points for flights for years. We each have a credit card, same number, but one in his name and and one in mine. For the first time today, I tried to book a family trip using a combo of points and the credit card. I did my flight first, using points. Then I tried to book the same flight for my husband and kids using the credit card. It kept saying my husband was not associated with that rewards account and would not let me book the flights for him. I ended up cancelling my flight and booking all 4 of us using the credit card. Is there a way to fix this for the future?
