Question about online check-in and arrival date

My wife and I are heading to the world the last week in January and we have a question about check-in I'm hoping someone on here can answer. We are going to do the online check-in with MM+. We will be arriving in Orlando the day before our check-in date. My question is, since we are doing the early check-in, can we go to our resort the day before our check-in date and go ahead and pick up our materials? We would prefer to do this so we don't have to show up early on check-in date. I realize that our room won't be available until that day but thought it might save us some time and hassle early that morning.

Thanks for any information you can share on this. I guess I could always give Disney a call and inquire as well?

Calling Disney to ask is a good idea. Don't mean to be a "dark cloud" but since your Magic Band also opens your room door, they may not want to tell you which room it is until your actual check-in day. Also, if you wanted to make any changes, for example the room location, they may not be able to do that until the "real" check-in day. But you never know, after all, it is Disney Good luck! please let us know what they say

Ok, so I called the main reservations number and they redirected me to the resort directly, in this case Pop. I called and they said, no go. The earliest you can physically check-in, even if you've completed the online part, is 7am of the first day of your reservation.
