Question about on-site resort reservations

We currently have a reservation in August for the Royal Pacific. Does Universal, or more specifically, Loews, allow you to change your reservation to another resort and transfer the deposit for you like Disney does? Or, do you have to cancel and start all over?

Don't know for sure but if it's that far out and you want upgrade they should transfer your deposit, make it easier to give them money, if not complain. Current resort fees are $17 dollar parking, additional charge for $15 Mini Fridge, Gym and in room Wifi. They do encourage pool and resort hopping, your room key will allow you access and to charge things across the resorts.
