Finally broke down and upgraded to a new Dell running WindowsXP.:sohappy:

Anyway, I got a question I hope someone can help me with...

When trying to post a photo or link, I get this message in a message bar at the top of the page:
"This website is using a scripted window to ask you for information. If you trust this site, click here to allow scripted windows."

My question is how do I allow this site to permanently bypass this message, or do I even want to?

I've worked with XP at work , but this being a new computer, I'm not sure how to tweak it!!

BTW: I'm using IE7 as a browser.

I would say no, don't bypass it.

It's a security feature and if you bypass it, you'd be risking allowing other devious websites or undevious but hacked sites (it happens) to run a script on your PC.

You can examine your security setting levels if you wish, but i'd also consider just not using IE and moving to firefox or something else alltogether as it is.

There is a way to bypass it. This article will tell you how.(The settings are toward the bottom of the list)

There is a lot of discussion as to weather this safety feature is really necessary because scripted windows are it used by considerably more by legitimate sites (like this on) then nefarious ones.

As always disable at your own risk.
