Question about MNSSHP

We have tickets for MNSSHP and the night we had tickets for recently sold out. I'm just wondering how busy it is when it is sold out? Is it like a busy regular day at Magic kingdom?

Lord no. They only sell around 20,000 tickets for MNSSHP. MK (I think) has an average attendance of 70,000 on peak days, and 45,000 on slower days.

I was at a sold out night last year, and it was somewhat crowded, but still short lines on the mountains. Parade and fireworks were crowded though. Compared to this year when I went to a not sold out night, I noticed parade route wasn't as packed, but still Mine Train line was packed.

A lot of people during the first half of the night seem to be caught up in candy lines/meet and greet, and then there's a drop off in crowds after the second Boo to You.

Even on sell out nights, most rides will be walk on. The main walkways might feel a bit crowded through the Main St. and hub area, but I personally only experienced that around the time of Hallowishes. Character lines will have lengthy waits (especially Jack/Sally and the dwarves) but that happens regardless of how busy the party is. And be sure to wait to view the second parade as the first will be much more crowded. Have a great time!

The character lines start up early - many people will get in line an hour before they even appear. If you plan on staying late I recommend getting in line as late as possible. Crowds dwindle later in the night (as many families with young kids leave).

Also, try to time getting in line for meets during the first parade or first villains show. Those definitely bleed off some of the guests.
