Question about MNSSHP Tickets

I purchased tickets to MNSSHP, and chose the option to have them mailed to me. Maybe not the best choice, but anyway, I received them today (didn't expect them to b plastic cards - pretty nice), and I just linked them to our package in MM+. We're getting Magic Bands (though I guess this question would apply to KTTW cards as well) - will I need to have these cards with me when we go to the party, or will we be able to get in with our Magic Bands? Don't worry, whatever I'm told here, I'll verify with Disney, but I thought someone here would know.

One weird thing is after I linked them, when I look at the details for the tickets in MM+, it says Enter at 12:00am and the date of the party. Really, I can show up at midnight the night before? :D Awesome!

I would still take them with you to the event, you may need to present them if you want special items like a Sorcerer of the Magic Kingdom Card. If they are linked, you shouldn't need them for admission.

Bring them regardless of what they tell you on the phone. They are still having many problems with the bands (from what ive been reading) and if for some reason there is a problem, if you have the cards with you there is no need to worry.

I wonder if they will just add the MNSSHP admission to a MagicBand if I buy admission to the party on the day we plan to go? We're going to go to the MNSSHP party on the 18th and (for personal reasons) I will not be buying the tickets until that morning.

I don't know! I would take them with me, though. I've read too many complaints about the bands not working properly to trust them for that. Better to have e&m and not need them than need them and not have them!

Have a great time!

I agree with @luv. I tried and tried to link my MNSSHP tickets and even called with no success. Then I realized I'd take my tickets anyway, even if I got it to work. I definitely don't want to risk having to drive back to the resort for my hard tickets if the bands don't work!

I must be challenged by linking my tickets. I typed in all 3 numbers and linked them to people. When I log in, all I see are the tickets for my son (on two different days). So I am taking the tickets with me and not trusting the computer system just yet.

Thanks folks, I'm definitely bringing them - something interesting I noticed. The tickets look just like what I guess KTTW cards look like (they don't say anything about the party on them, they just have pictures of Mickey or Minnie on them), and in fact, when I look at MagicBands and Cards now, it shows these cards (I recognize the numbers) - I think perhaps these are considered our KTTW cards - why else would they show up under Magic Bands and Cards? The top of that page says "Whether you have a MagicBand wristband or touch to enter admission card—or both—you are seamlessly connected to your reservations, park admission and other plans and purchases. Well, I'll have them with me at check in, and I'm sure all will be revealed! :)

I have the those tickets also (but mine have goofy and Minnie on them)... these are strictly party tickets.. on the back it should say mnsshp and whatever day you are going.. your Kttw card will have your name imprinted on the front with the days of your stay

Oh, you're right - it's Goofy and Minnie.

Ok, thanks - never seen an actual KTTW card. I can't even remember what we had to show to enter the parks when we went in 2000.
