Question about MK!!

Howdy! I have a question for y'all:

(1) Monorail/Ferry: At what time (compared to when the MK opens) do these open for guests depart?
(2) When both arrive to the MK, how much time is there before entering Main Street?
(3) How long from then will the rest of the lands (Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Adventureland, Liberty Square) open?

I am just wondering - this is not including early entry or resort staying.

Hey Grizz!

I believe that Walt Disney World Transportation to the Magic Kingdom starts operating about 1.5 hours before the parks official opening which is usualy 9am.

Main St USA opens at about 8:30am. The Hub in front of the castle is open at that time as well.

At 9am there is a little anouncement about the park and Walt and that is when the ropes drop for each of the land. You will than have to walk slowly and camly behind cast members to the attractions (this stops anybody from getting 'trampled' while people run to the rides)

In Nov we were held at the rope at the station at the main entrance, Resort guests were let in. Then at around 0900 mary Poppins did a song and dance routine then the train pitched up full of characters, and Mr Mouse opened the park. We were then let in and by the time we got to the hub all ropes were down. I dont think it was early entry, but we were staying off property for the first part of our break so I didnt pay too much attention at that point.

If I remember correctly (from when I was there)...

It seemed that the TTC rope drop was at 8:30 or around there.

Guests were allowed on to Main Street at around 8:45.

The rope drop to the other lands, and official opening were at 9:00.

These are approximate times though, so don't hold me to them.
