Question about little mermaid rooms

I haven't been on here in a while but I thought I should start getting info now that we are only 13 days away. Seems like everything is in order for our family of four, but one question I had for the board is if there are microwaves and refrigerators in the Little Mermaid Rooms @ Art of Animation. One thing I was going to do to help us save money was eat breakfast in our room, which included cereal. I can deal without the microwave but if there is no fridge then that pretty much messes up the cereal thing since we will have nowhere to put milk. Of course, we can bring things that don't require this but just curious if they are in those rooms or not. Thanks for any help.

No microwave. There is a small fridge.

I'm staying in the little mermaid rooms in June, looking at the map online they seem pretty far away from the main entrance and bus stops.. is this accurate?! Hope you have a great time, I'm jealous you go so soon!

Somewhat. The distance from the furthest point at the Little Mermaid rooms to the bus stops is about the same as the distance from the entrance of Epcot to Mexico or Canada. No big deal in the morning when you are excited, but it can be a haul at 11:00 PM when you are carrying the dead weight of a sleeping child.

Thanks for the info! I guess it won't be so bad, I will only be there 3 days.. but I'm used to POFQ where the bus stop was a minute walk away! I didn't do park hoppers this time since it will be such a short trip so hopefully that helps with the walking! Thank you :)

It's really that far? I guess it doesn't seem like it when you are just in a hurry to get on the bus in the morning.

My sister, her husband and their 4-year-old stayed in the LM rooms last year. She said that the walk to/from their room to the main building took about 10 minutes each way (going fairly slow to accommodate the 4-year-old's walking pace -- they did not use a stroller). She said that they never minded it in the mornings, as it was a scenic and pleasant stroll. Going back to their rooms after a day in the parks was more daunting if they were tired, but she said it was still reasonable and "no big deal."

When you compare it to the other value resorts, the distance from the Little Mermaid buildings to the bus stop are either in line of just over what the others all. The furthest point at Music is about the same as Mermaid and the other resorts come in at about 2/3rds +/- the length.
