Question about late night Extra Magic Hours

Hi,

My family and headed down to Disney World next week. Have a question about late night Extra Magic Hours. I noticed that Hollywood Studios is open two hours later for Disney resort guests one of the days we are there. That particular day we are going to be at Epcot but I'm wondering if it might be worth it to head over to the Studios at 10pm for the Extra hours. Obviously we won't have any fast pass reservations for Hollywood Studios since the bulk of our day will be at Epcot so I'm wondering, will it be worth our time to check out the later hours at the studios or will it be mobbed?

If it is a choice of head to the Studios or back to the resort I would at least give the EMH a whirl.

Evening EMH is somewhat unpredictable. I have seen it both packed to the walls and like a ghost town, but the needle tends to favor the busy side of the meter.

Good point, if it's a mob scene we can always just head back to the resort. Wondering if I could make FP+ reservations for the studios from the app when I'm done with the ones I have at EPCOT? Or do you need to make those from the park at a kiosk?

If it's a choice between evening EMH and going back to the resort, definitely hit up the EMH. Even if it's a bit crowded, from my experience it will never be totally mobbed, because a lot of parents probably won't keep their kids up that late. In the last hour alone you'll probably be able to get a lot done.

If you have park hoppers you might as well hop. Watch Illuminations from
world showcase and exit through international gateway and you can get boat or walk to DHS.
Evening EMH felt good when we used them before, slightly lower crowds. As far as I know you can't use FP during EMH so the standby lines move quicker.

How late is late? In my experience EMH starting around midnight tend to die down pretty quick. People are usually tired by then and will just hit one or two attractions and then leave. If it's earlier it's more of a toss up

I love the PM EMH! A lot of ppl usually leave after wishes and it's normally pretty moderate if not more on the less busy side. I usually go in July the most for EMH and have done MK EMH a lot and had a blast at the real late hours. Epcot sometimes stays busy since the EMH there is normally only 11pm or midnight. Studios I have no idea. I know they usually do two fantasmics

Well... I know that in the summer months, the parks with extra magic hours tend to be packed and you don't get much done. If you think you may ride TSMM, you might want to think again. The wait for that was still 120 minutes!
