Question about "Kids" meals

My daughter is 10. Am I understanding it correctly that if we go to a sit down restaurant she can not order off of the kids menu? I want to do a few character meals but many of the food choices on the adult menu are adult foods, not something she wants to eat and she will never eat all that food either.

without dining plan. I know I can get kids meals at counter service but if we go to a character dining, adults are 10 and up right? Also, If we go to a sit down restaurant like the 50's diner, does she have to order off the adult menu or can she order off the kids menu?

My niece was barely over ten when I took her. I was never questioned when I asked for a children's menu for her so I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy your trip.

Only once in any circumstances was I asked what my kids ages were even coming through the turnstiles for free when they were under 3 years old

When Body Wars was newer there was only an age requirement no height, you had to be 3 years old. They stopped my 3.3 year old son in the queue and tip toed. I whipped out his admission ticket to the parks. If he was under three I wouldn't have a children's admission ticket for him. They smiled, nodded and waved us on through.

They work on tips, they are not going to annoy you.

There is no need to like or be sneaky. I've been with grown adults who have ordered off a kids menu in Signatures. They aren't going to question you. If you are on the DDP then they will charge you the adult price and will usually bring you extra food with the kids meal. otherwise you can just pay oop for the item you want off the kids meal if you don't want to be charged an adult credit.
