Question About Extra Magic Hours

We will be at WDW next week, and I have a couple of questions about Extra Magic Hours. We are staying at the Caribbean Beach and would like to drive to MGM on early opening. Will we be able to park showing resort ID or do you have to ride a bus over? Also, where in the parks do we pick up wristbands for evening extra magic hours?

You should be able to drive over with no problem. Don't forget your resort issued parking pass so you don't have to pay.

For evening EMH wristbands, just ask at guest info or any CM as there are usually a couple of places the bands are handed out. (at least as of last summer)

At the Magic Kingdom you can pick up EMH bands right after the turnstyles, off to one side of Main Street, under the old Tomorrowland Skyway station, Pinocchio's Village Haus in Fantasyland, and I believe somewhere in Frontierland or Adventureland.

At Epcot, I've seen them distrubuted by Spaceship Earth and under both breezeways.

Yes, you can still get one at 9.

ok i would take the bus and the bands are handed out if you show your card at the park which stays open and they put one on you

First of all - I'm going to be at Disney next week too - Right next door at Pop Century!! SO EXCITED! Anyway, just a piece of advice. We did the EMH at MGM last year and the lines were still horrible!! We tried to get on the Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller Coaster and both had 60+ min. waits. Granted we did go after Fantasmic - So I don't know if it would be beneficial to go A LOT later. Anyway - Have a great trip!

what time of the year did you go if you went like now or in the summer yes the lines will be horrible. I mean we are going in the fall and the lines arent too bad did it last year. its crowed like all the time anymore but have to go when its less crowed i mean if you go at a busy time of the year and complain then thats your fault. I mean if you cant go any other time then that to bad but if you have some flexable time and go when its crowed and complain then too bad

I did in fact go during the summer, but it's the time that this individual is going as well. Just a suggestion for her.
