Question about electronic toll roads from MCO to WDW

Hi
I haven't been to wdw in 10+ years and will be driving from the Orlando airport to the resorts. I've read that the toll roads are now electronic and was wondering if there are still manned ones ( so that i can get receipts in case the rental car company charges me for unpaid tolls)?

Also, how many toll roads would i pass through and where are they located? I'm aiming to use the most direct route to the resort area. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you take 417 and get off at I-drive you'll hit 2 tolls ($1.50 each) at manned toll booths.

If you take this route it's Exit 6 off of 417 (World Center Drive). From this exit it's a straight shot into Disney.

If you take the Beachline (FL 528) it's also two tolls (with manned booths) that are a quarter cheaper for each one, but you would have to then deal with I-4 which can be horrible.

All of the primary toll booths have manned stations -- it's the tolled exits that are not manned. As long as you make sure that you're not taking a tolled exit you'll be fine.

Thanks Nemo14, tahqa, and pixiesteno for your helpful replies. :D

But I was wondering tahqa, what are tolled exits? I have to pay a toll to get off the freeway? Would it be marked?

Yes, some exits off of the toll roads will have unmanned toll booths and they are usually marked. Your safest bet, in general, is to use exits right after the main toll booths (the manned ones on the freeway) -- they are usually the ones without tolls.

Most tolls have manned booths. A few places have a coin-only option where you toss the money in the thing. Carry singles and quarters with you whenever you aren't on WDW property.

There are no Sunpass Only exits anywhere near the tourist areas. Cash is accepted everywhere.

They're marked when you get on them. It's impossible not to notice when you exit. With the exception of I-4, all the highways in Orlando have tolls, I think. Some non-freeway roads have tolls, too (e.g. Osceola Parkway, near the tourist area.)

I was told that we have more tolls than any other city in the country(not the highest amounts, but the most tolls.) I don't know that it's true, but wouldn't be surprised to find that it was.
