Question about Disney Rewards card (from Disney Visa)

OK, so I've got a nice chunk of change on my Disney Rewards card (the one that gets money added to it when you accumulate points by using your Disney Visa card). In the past, the only place I've ever used this card is at World of Disney, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can use it at the Food & Wine Festival kiosks (i.e. will their card readers be able to read it, deduct the appropriate amount, etc.)?

It would probably be easier just to use your KTTW card and charge to your room account. Then, you could ask the hotel front desk to apply as many reward dollars that you want to your account.

I don't quite understand.

Do you mean use the Visa Card for discounts? Then the answer is no.

But you could use your card just to purchase things pretty much anywhere.

I think you'd be better off charging to your room and using the points elsewhere. I don't know if the kiosks can use the card or not. If they are Disney then they should be able to. But if they are an outside vendor kind of thing, then probably not. I've had problems with CM's not knowing what to do with the card at places like the Emporium, so, you never know what kind of CM you're gonna get. I also had a CM at Mouse Gear think my Disney Gift Card was not able to be used there. What should've been a minute-long transaction turned into a five minute one while he went to find someone to ask if I could use it. :\

We had no problem using our Rewards Card (similar to a gift card) at the carts or kiosks in the parks a few weeks ago. Hope this helps!

I believe that the Disney Rewards Card is accepted anywhere credit cards are accepted on property, which to my knowledge, is everywhere :)
