I have a quick question regarding the free dining plan that disney had last year. I am looking to book my next trip for the end of Sept. Was wondering if Disney announces a free plan like last year for the time i am there would i still be entitled to it our would it have to be available when i had originaly book the trip

I would recommend doing a quick search of the forums for "Free dining". There have been numerous posts and any/all of them should clear this up for you :)

Forum search is your friend... :D

with all due respect i know how to use the search feature and don't need someone to tell me. If you can't answer my question then move on to the next post. I don't me to sound rude but i am tired of every telling people to use search. Feel free to type in free dining plan and tell me how i shuld look through 500 plus threads to find the answer. Unfortunatly i have to work and don't have time to spend all day on here.

free dining plan

The package deals are announced as time periods draw closer. If you book a room only reservation, you can definitely cancel it for a full refund and change it to a package that includes the dining plan when that is announced. I don't think it's as easy to change from one package to another without incurring a penalty, but you can check this with Disney reservations. The dining plan worked out great for us last month.

Book through Kingdom Konsultants. If free dining is offered, they'll have you set up in such a way that they can add it. If it doesn't, you're still booking through the best, they'll take good care of your needs!

With all due respect to you I believe Typhoonguy was rather nice in explaining that a search might help you. You say you are short on time (in my opinion, then check the boards when you're not at work...:lookaroun ) and doing a search might actually be a quicker way of finding your answer than waiting until you can get all the information you need from replies. I believe Typhoonguy was thinking that there was just a similar thread to this only a few days ago, and that would have all the information you would need compiled together. Searches really do help. If you do a quick one and see the topic you need was posted within the past few weeks then great! If not, then post. :)

Wow... I appologize for TRYING to save you time, I'll let you fend for yourself from now on. I was trying to help since there's a thread just 10 spots below this one on the exact same topic with a very similar title. In the time it would take for you to post the question and for me to type the answer, you could have scrolled down to that one and seen for yourself 5 times over. So are you looking for a time saver or to be spoon-fed the information? THAT is what bothers me about this being reposted on a daily basis; people that are unappreciative of the help that is given.

my only point is i asked a question either answer it or pass it by. It is realy annoying all the poeple who complain that there are too many post of similar type. If i feel like using the search it is my choice. If i feel like asking it that is my choice also. I don't need someone telling how to use the board. Also the little line "search is your friend" is very demeaning

Okay at the risk of getting myself in trouble...here goes. I don't think anyone was looking to offend here in this thread. Simply stated, I think other options were just being given. The problem with posting is that unfortunately our typed words can be misinterpted at times.

These boards are for the giving and taking of information, rumors etc.. IMHO thats why a search option is there for us so we can look into the history of certain topics.

That's all I have to say so now I will:zipit:

search

the search option can help with topics that you may want an answer to right away. The dining plan questions have come up alot(i know, because i asked and was handed my head by someone, who did apologize later:) ),searching can actually save you some time, and help make some decisions that if you wait for an answer ,you may lose out, such as reservations at certain restaurants that fill up very quickly, and i do mean quickly. So chill and breath deep, this is not supposed to be an evil experience.:animwink:
