Question about digital media contests

i don't have permission to start new threads in the digital media contest section, so i am posting here.

i was just curious as to why the requirement for wallpapers is 700 by 525. is it just to kepp bandwidth usage down, and save on webspace?

i think it's just a maximum image size thing...

either way, I still do all of my entries in 1024x768

I chose that size for a few reasons::

1.) yep..max size allowed on here

2.) Its bigger than 640X480

3.) it can be stretched and still look semi-usable
