HI...I am planning a trip with my husband to bring his mother and aunt to disney...But we can't decide on where to stay so I am looking for suggestions please....We are thinking either a value or moderate hotel on site. And I am unsure if the quick service dining or regular dining package is worth it. I would appreciate all the help we could get. My husband hasn't been there since the early 80's so this will be like a first time for him too...Thank you for all the help in advance.

With a question like that for which resort you will get many different answers.

Do stay on site in a Disney resort.

I would suggest first looking at your budget.
If a moderate is OK then definitely do that instead of a value resort.
On the other hand there is nothing wrong with a value resort because, if you do WDW correctly, you won't be in your room much anyway.

On dining, I would suggest that since this is somewhat of an exploratory trip that you not get a dining plan (unless it's free) so that you can have maximum flexibility.
