Question about Christmas Beverages and the Osborne Lights!

Hello all,

I'm going back to the World the beginning of December and I just had a question! This is my first trip being 21 and I'm looking forward to getting some festive/christmasy alcoholic beverages at either the Sci-Fi drink stand and/or the Backlot Canteen (not 100% sure which one, or both?). I believe they just change the drinks to have a christmas name and you can get a glow cube? Is this the right? Anyway, I heard that sometimes these stands are not open all the time and I REALLY wanted to be able to have a festive beverage and be able to see the Osborne Lights! Has anyone done this or do they close early? Thank you all :xmas:!

There is a booth right outside Sci-Fi. Just make sure you get there before 9pm. We arrived at 9:05 and they wouldn't serve us. We tried to go inside but also was turned away. One of the few times I was disappointed at Disney.

They should also have a stand out back by the Studio Catering Co. Dec 2010 they had a full array of seasonal drinks, some of which sounded specific to the winter, not just renamed. I know that they opened around lunch time as it was open by the time we finished eating. Not sure how late they were open though.

Was there New Years Eve..but I cant remember when the Alcohol was cutoff...The Osborne Lights are incredible!
