Question about charging to my room

I know Disney used to allow charges to your room using Magic Bands. Does anyone know if this is still the case? What if someone is not using the Magic Band but using their phone instead? I know they can give you an itemized receipt at the end, but can you pay for the hotel and all the purchases as one bulk payment? I ask because I have credit card points I want to put toward the hotel room, but I have more than I need for that fee and would love to roll other purchases and dining into that same payment. Also, I recall using a Magic Band payment at stores and counter service restaurants, but can it be used at sit-down restaurants? And how about mobile ordering? Last time I went I used Apple Pay for mobile orders. Can payment for mobile orders go through the hotel room?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you have MagicMobile set up on your phone (in the My Disney Experience app), yes, you can use it to charge things to your room, the same way as with a MagicBand or Key To The World card.

Mobile food orders, last I knew, have to go on a credit card, gift card, etc. If that has changed, I'm sure someone will chime in.

Using a gift card does for mobile ordering involved adding the number each time, it cannot be stored.

What many people do is store the number in the Notes of your phone so you can simply copy and paste it in, instead of having to type in the whole number each time.
Not anymore, they fixed this recently. The gift cards have now have a QR-style code on the back that you can scan with your phone's camera. It's very efficient.

I highly recommend moving all of your gift card balance onto the newer gift cards. The old ones with the bar code don't work for this.

What about E-cards?

Not sure, I've never used e-cards. But in that case I'd probably just transfer the whole balance onto a physical card at DisneyGiftCard.com.
Not sure if international guests can use that site, I know I can’t buy gift cards from it. So I guess I just have to use the copy & paste option.
