Question about character dining

I think I already know the answer to this, but I was wondering if it was possible to do any meal "upgrades" on the quick service dining option. We were hoping to do a Character Breakfast while we were there and wondered if we could trade something like (2) quick service meals for (1) character breakfast. If not, does anyone know a good way to get a princess breakfast without paying an additional arm and leg for it?

Akershus in the Norway pavilion at Epcot has a princess breakfast that's much cheaper than the one in the MK castle.

I don't think you'll have any luck in trying to trade CS credits for a TS.

Ditto that big 'ol negative on trading up 2 CS credits but agree with the above on the best place to meet up with the ladies. Still expensive but the cheapest you're gonna get.
