I'm prefacing with I've only been on 1 cruise and it was back in 2012...

Mom & Dad had a cruise booked for 2019 that they booked while on the ship for the - whatever discount/offer you get for doing that. They then re-booked it to 2020, then pandemic, I re-booked mom and I (dad passed away) to a January 2022 cruise which I now need to cancel.

If we book a future cruise, I'm assuming we've already lost whatever deal/discount/credit/etc they got with their original on-ship re-booking?

Your best bet would be to call Disney Cruise Line (1-800-951-3532) and explain the situation.
Generally speaking the onboard booking discount (which is 10% off the future fare, reduced deposit amounts, and $100-200 on-board credit) must be used on a sailing within 24 months of the original sailing.
I'm not sure how they are handling that with COVID-19 cancellations.

You have 2 years from the day you booked your future cruise on the ship to take your next cruise. But with the pandemic, they pushed sailing back to end of Sept 2022, BUT you had to have BOOKED a cruise in that same 2 year time period. So if the 2 years since you were on that cruise has passed, you missed out. You should have received the deposit refunded. If you cruised at the end of 2019 and are within that 2 year original time frame, you can call them and book a cruise that you will have until Sept 2022 to take.

Agreed. We had to cancel 2 cruises due to COVID and are scheduled to cruise again in sept, 2022 while still using our onboard booking from 11/19.
